The Impact Pro (TIP) is currently recruiting a Structural Engineer for a major construction project in Dubai, UAE.
Key Requirements
• Degree in Structural Engineering or Civil Engineering
• 6–8 years of construction-stage engineering experience on high-rise reinforced concrete buildings
• Previous experience on towers of 40+ storeys
• Strong technical knowledge of reinforced concrete and post-tensioned slab systems
• Experience reviewing structural calculations, concrete mix designs, shop drawings, and temporary works
• Proven experience validating consultant-issued IFC designs for construction
• Strong understanding of construction sequencing, load paths, and buildability considerations
• Experience working within a main contractor environment
• Middle East construction delivery experience
• Proficiency in Revit / AutoCAD and familiarity with BIM coordination processes
• Good working knowledge of Dubai authority requirements, codes, and approval processes
• Strong communication and coordination skills
Preferred Qualifications
• Dubai Municipality License (Unlimited Floors)
• Degree from a US or UK university
Role Overview
The successful candidate will provide technical oversight of structural works, support construction-stage engineering activities, review technical submissions, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, participate in site inspections and technical meetings, and support the delivery of high-rise projects in accordance with approved designs and applicable standards.
